We connect consumers who request information with relevant licensed providers. We are not the contractor or installer. We collect and route inquiries (“leads”) to matching partners.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information (e.g., precise geolocation, health, financial account numbers) through the Services. Do not submit such information through our forms.

TCPA Consent

By submitting your contact information, you agree that we and our Service Providers may contact you via phone, SMS/MMS, email, and autodialed or prerecorded calls/texts about your inquiry, even if your number is on a Do Not Call registry. Message/data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time as described in Section 7.

5. How We Disclose/Share Information

• Service Providers & Partners: We disclose your information to vetted providers offering home improvement/home security services that match your inquiry.
• Marketing/Analytics Vendors: For ad delivery, measurement, attribution, fraud prevention, and site performance.
• Legal/Compliance: To comply with law, respond to lawful requests, or protect rights, safety, and property.
• Business Transfers: As part of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.

Under the CPRA, certain advertising, cross-context behavioral advertising, and third-party analytics may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. See Section 7 for your opt-out choices.

How to Exercise: Use our Opt-Out & Privacy Request page or email privacy@[yourdomain].com. We will verify your request (e.g., via email/SMS link or matching data points). You may also use an authorized agent; we may require proof of authorization and verification of your identity.

Appeal rights (where applicable, e.g., CO/CT/VA): If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision notice or emailing privacy@[yourdomain].com with “Appeal” in the subject.

7. Advertising, “Sale” & “Sharing” Opt-Outs

• Submit a request at /opt-out to opt out of “sale”/“sharing” and targeted advertising.
• Use platform/device controls (e.g., mobile ad settings) and industry tools (NAI/DAA opt-outs).
• Enable a recognized opt-out preference signal (Global Privacy Control). Where required, we treat it as a valid request to opt out of “sale”/“sharing” for that browser.

8. Cookies & Tracking

We and third parties use cookies, pixels, SDKs, and similar technologies for site functionality, analytics, and advertising (including retargeting and frequency capping). You can control cookies via your browser settings. Blocking cookies may impact site functionality.

9. Data Security

We implement commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

10. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes outlined above, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. When no longer needed, we delete or de-identify information.

The Services are intended for individuals 18+. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn we have collected information from a minor, we will delete it.

12. Transfers

We may process and store information in the United States and other locations. By using the Services, you understand your information may be transferred to jurisdictions with different data protection laws.
